Antique 15ct Gold Sapphire & Pearl Floral Pendant Brooch
Be still our beating hearts! What a wonderful find this is - a less common version of a classic late Victorian design, centring a fabulous bright blue sapphire in the middle of the pendant brooch. Naturalistic flower brooches and pendants were very popular during the Victorian and Edwardian eras, as was studding high carat gold with pearls. This piece of jewellery can be worn as either a brooch or a pendant, and the bale is detachable for the former. The brooch is not marked, but the gold has been tested.
This antique pendant brooch is in fabulous condition for its age, and is secured by a pin and hook at the rear. We are selling this piece without a chain - if you plan to hang from your own chain, the internal bale diameter is a generous 6mm. Alternatively, we can source a modern chain for you, just let us know your requirements.
