A beautiful turn of the century solitaire ring featuring a round almandine garnet solitaire claw set in a solid 18ct gold band. This lovely old ring has full hallmarks plus maker's mark 'AM'.
The garnet is a lovely pinky colour with slight hints of peach. The facet edges have been abraded over the 120 years use, but you can only see this with a loupe. Almandine garnet is a lustrous stone so this shines really brightly under the light. The claws are in good condition and the stone is securely set.
A really pretty ring and a lovely piece of history! Your antique garnet solitaire ring is supplied in our recycled kraft ring box with our tailored gemstone care card. UK delivery is fast and free via Royal Mail.

Questions? Please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you! You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0207 846 0254. We do not have a shop you can visit as we operate online only, however we do have a very fair returns policy so you can purchase with confidence.
Gemstones cannot be accurately graded or weighed when set in jewellery so all carat weights, colour grades and clarity grades are our best estimates. Metals and stones are checked for authenticity, and any treatments disclosed.
Your jewellery will arrive in a display box made from recycled card. We only package using recycled materials, and we think this compliments your ethical vintage purchase perfectly.
A written valuation is provided for all individual jewellery pieces priced at £1000 or more.
