Antique 18ct Yellow Gold Diamond & Sapphire Buckle Ring
A beautiful antique Victorian buckle ring fashioned from 18ct yellow gold and featuring a trilogy of gemstones: two cushion cut blue sapphires and a central old mine cut diamond. All three stones are claw set into the solid gold ring, which is beautifully ornate with detailed, fluted edging to the front. Buckles are worn as symbols of eternal love, and tend to be very significant pieces of jewellery for the wearer. They can denote eternal love for someone living or in memorial, and it is more than likely that this ring was presented to its original wearer as a sentimental and romantic gift. A beautiful ring in excellent condition, supplied in our modern ring box (the vintage ring box shown is one of our props).
