Tell me more...
A beautiful 18ct yellow gold pinky ring, fashioned as a shield and set with a sardonyx stone which is lilac on top and orange underneath. Sardonyx contains two types of chalcedony: sard and onyx. It is one of the most ancient gemstones used for adornment, worn by humans for thousands of years. Sardonyx is the birthstone for August.
The shield ring has nice and clear Chester hallmarks for 1911-1912. It's a solid and study piece of jewellery in great condition.
Your sardonyx shield ring is supplied in our recycled kraft ring box with our tailored gemstone care card. UK delivery is fast and free via Royal Mail.

Questions? Please get in touch, we'd love to hear from you! You can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 0207 846 0254. We do not have a shop you can visit as we operate online only, however we do have a very fair returns policy so you can purchase with confidence.
Gemstones cannot be accurately graded or weighed when set in jewellery so all carat weights, colour grades and clarity grades are our best estimates. Metals and stones are checked for authenticity, and any detectable stone treatments disclosed.
Your jewellery will arrive in a display box made from recycled card. We only package using recycled materials, and we think this compliments your ethical vintage purchase perfectly.
A written valuation is provided for all individual jewellery pieces priced at £1000 or more. Kit Clayton Jewellery is a member of the National Association of Jewellers.
