Ladies Antique 18ct Yellow Gold Sardonyx Pinky Signet Ring
A beautiful 18ct yellow gold pinky ring, fashioned as a shield and set with a sardonyx stone which is lilac on top and orange underneath. Sardonyx contains two types of chalcedony: sard and onyx. It is one of the most ancient gemstones used for adornment, worn by humans for thousands of years. Sardonyx is the birthstone for August. The shield ring has nice and clear Chester hallmarks for 1911-1912. It's a solid and study piece of jewellery in great condition.
