Antique 18ct Gold & Platinum Sapphire & Diamond Flower Ring
What a fabulous find this little ring is! A wonderful example of early 20th century craftsmanship, and we would date it to the Edwardian or Art Deco eras (1900-1920). The setting of the ring has been fashioned as a flower and tipped in platinum. In it sits a round, mixed cut sapphire and 8 single cut diamonds. The shoulders are beautifully decorative, and are also tipped in platinum and set with a further single cut diamond each. The bright and sparkly setting is complemented by the warm, buttery hue of the 18ct gold band, which is in a great condition for its age, and stamped 18ct + PT on the inside. The ring comes in what we believe to be its original case from W.H Kendall in Tisbury, which only adds to its charm.
This piece would make a perfect antique engagement ring, but equally a lovely choice to celebrate another special occasion such as a birthday or graduation. Whoever decides to be this ring's next custodian, will be thrilled.
