Antique 18ct Yellow Gold Turquoise & Diamond Trilogy Gypsy Ring
A beautiful gypsy ring from the end of the Victorian era. The trilogy ring has been fashioned from solid 18ct yellow gold and studded with a small, old European cut diamond flanked by two turquoise cabochons in square settings. Three stones in jewellery tend to denote the past, the present and the future, and were commonly gifted and worn as love tokens. We think it's likely that this ring was originally worn as a wedding ring.
The ring is in great condition for its age - it's had a recent polish (not by us) so shines beautifully, and full Birmingham hallmarks are visible on the shank. Evidence of a resize is also visible on the shank, which is sturdy with plenty of life left in it yet.
