Tell me more...

A glorious turn of the 20th century three stone diamond ring, if we do say so ourselves! Featuring a central stone of an estimated 0.60ct, and flanked by two smaller diamonds, one of an estimated 0.20ct and the other an estimated 0.17ct. So just under a carat of pure, Edwardian brilliance.

All three diamonds exhibit fabulous clarity under the loupe and they sparkle beautifully! The central stone is slightly more tinted in colour that the outer two, but all three stones are millegrain set in platinum to brighten them.

One of the smaller diamonds does show a fisheye effect, so a slightly darker patch when viewed from certain angles. This is a reflection of the stone's girdle and occurs because the diamond cutter has made the stone slightly too shallow (and it accounts for its lower weight too). This is an interesting quirk of the piece that has been there since day one.

Three stone or 'trilogy' rings typically represent the past, the present and the future. They are a wonderfully romantic piece of jewellery and the ideal gift on an anniversary or significant date. A true investment to treasure and pass on down through the generations. Supplied in the beautiful antique ring box shown in the photos.
