Victorian 18ct Yellow Gold Ladies Buckle Ring
A beautiful ladies buckle ring, made from solid 18ct yellow gold. This wonderful piece of history has full hallmarks for Birmingham 1886 and would likely have been worn - possibly on more than one hand - as an engagement or wedding ring.
Buckles are worn as symbols of eternal love, and tend to be very significant pieces of jewellery for the wearer. They can denote eternal love for someone living or in memorial. This Victorian buckle ring would make a fabulous addition to the jewellery box of a lady who likes her jewellery unassuming and symbolic.
