Antique Victorian 9ct Gold & Aquamarine Rectangular Locket
The most beautiful little Victorian locket, rectangular in shape with truncated shoulders. While the outer rim swirls are made from cast gold, the detailing on the inner panel, both around the edge and the starburst setting itself, have been hand engraved. This is incredibly detailed and skilled work, and it's lovely to see it surviving so well. The centre of the locket has been set with a 2.8mm wide aquamarine in the aforementioned starburst setting. Inside the locket, which opens and closes well, there are two spaces for photos of loved ones.
We are offering this beautiful locket for sale with a new 9ct yellow gold trace chain, available in 18-22 lengths. The chain is good quality, solid gold and fine at 1.2mm wide. It pairs beautifully and is small enough to fit through the bale at the top. You are also welcome, of course, to purchase the locket on its own to hang from your own chain
