Vintage 18ct Yellow Gold Opal Half Eternity Band Ring
An incredibly beautiful vintage half eternity ring from circa 1960-1970. The ring is made from solid 18ct gold and is studded with 8 small round opals which show a beautiful mix of blues, greens, purples and oranges when moved around in the light. This wonderful feature is referred to as play of colour. The ring itself is a solid and sturdy ring weighing 4.95 grams and the inner shank is stamped with 18ct. However, opals themselves are delicate stones, so we recommend removing the ring during any activity where it may get bashed, and also keep it out of direct heat. Overall a fabulous item of vintage jewellery that looks absolutely beautiful on the hand - a real delight to wear. Please note: the ring will arrive in our modern jewellery box - the vintage box shown is one of our props.
