Vintage 18ct Gold Green Tourmaline & Diamond Dress Ring
Without exaggeration, one of the most fantastic rings we have ever acquired here at Kit Clayton. The ring features a large 5.3ct deep green tourmaline, with flashes of blue when moved under light. The beauty of this natural tourmaline is not to be underestimated. While we have done our best to bring it to life in the photos, it is even more spectacular to the eye. Flanking the tourmaline on each side are two small round brilliant cut diamonds of a high colour and clarity. There is no question that this spectacular dress ring has been to a soiree or two in its time, and it will have drawn many compliments during! The stones are set in a solid and heavy 18ct yellow gold setting, and the ring oozes vintage glamour. Age wise, we would place this as having been made somewhere in the 1960s-1970s, and it is in excellent condition, likely only been worn on special occasions. An incredible piece of jewellery, presented with an independent jewellery report for your piece of mind. The ring will arrive in our modern navy ring box - the antique case shown is one of our props.
