Vintage 9ct Gold Garnet Navette Ring
A very pretty vintage ring, made sometime in the 1970s-1990s from solid 9ct yellow gold. The navette shaped setting has been studded with orangey-red, round cut garnets. The navette (little boat) design is very flattering on the finger and tends to elongate the digit. It's a popular shape both for ring settings, and gemstone cuts, with its origins in the French court of the 1700s. A lovely ring with a gemstone choice - garnet - that's very much a design of its time.
