Vintage 9ct Yellow Gold Opal Cluster Ring
A beautiful vintage ring manufactured in the 1960s-1970s. The ring has been made from solid 9ct gold and is studded with small opal cabochons. These are not doublets, but genuine opals with a lovely play of colour. It's a solid, sturdy and eye catching piece of jewellery, very much of its era and a joy to wear. The outer halo of opals will have been glued into this ring (completely normal - many stones are glued into jewellery though you may not realise it), so care must taken when wearing this piece. Remove for hand washing and any activity where they may get wet or overly warm, weakening the glue. Overall a fabulous item of vintage jewellery that looks absolutely beautiful on the hand. A pleasure to wear.
