Tell me more...
This is a really beautiful vintage ring from the 1950s-1960s that's been made in the Art Nouveau style of the late 1800s. The ring has been fashioned from solid 9ct yellow gold and features a large opal triplet with a lovely play of colour under what we believe is a quartz dome. The dome could be plastic, but it doesn't conduct heat like plastic, and the only other tests we can do to be sure are destructive so we have opted not to.
The is a statement piece of jewellery, the opal being 1.1cm x 0.9cm and it looks super on the middle or index finger. As this is a composite stone - an ironstone base, a small slice of opal and then the dome, it's important that this ring is not submerged in water as it could ruin the stone.
A gorgeous vintage opal ring, that whoever buys will absolutely adore. Supplied in our recycled kraft ring box with our tailored gemstone care card. UK delivery is fast and free via Royal Mail.
