Tell me more...

A vintage bangle and a half! This fabulous piece of jewellery weighs just shy of a whopping 24 grams. That's a lot of gold! Despite this, it doesn't feel heavy or cumbersome on the wrist, it just feels excellent quality.

Fashioned from 9ct yellow gold in the mid-1970s, the bangle has been set with the favoured gemstone of the decade: pyrope garnet. In total 5.8cts of oval mixed cut garnet stones sit in this ring, separated by small, single cut diamonds.

Gemstones and sparkle aside, the gold work on this bangle is fabulous and it's a really ornate and decorative piece of wrist wear. The clasp works well and opens and closes securely; in addition the piece bears full British hallmarks for 1975. It's suited to ladies who wear a max 7.5 inch bracelet, but will also work or those whose wrists suits a 7 inch bracelet.

We adore vintage bangles at Kit Clayton Jewellery and we were thrilled to fine this one. It's supplied in our recycled kraft jewellery box and also enclosed will be our tailored gemstone care card. Delivery is fast and free via Royal Mail.
